Neverthelessは副詞。AとBはそれぞれ独立の文。
ちなみに、Although A, B (= B, although A)
Aであるが、Bになった。
Althoughは接続詞で、Although Aは従属文、Bが主文。なので、.(ドット) と ,(カンマ) の違いがある。

口頭で言われたとき、peace (発音がpieceと同じ) price かと勘違いしてました。
[13] head count: 頭数 と訳されるが、実態は、各部門・部署に何人の人員（正社員だけでなく契約社員、派遣社員も含む）が配置されているかを把握するための数字である。
外資系では、本社の意向により各部門・部署がまるごと消え去るケースがあり、これをヘッドカウント閉鎖という。

Agree or Disagree: Should an authority proactively arrest a suspect?
I regard apprehending as a punishment, even though the arrest is for the purpose of custody of a suspect and the suspect is not guilty (=innocent).
The suspect may be indicted (=charged) by a prosecutor, and then the suspect will be called as a defendant / an accused in a civil / criminal trial.
The suspect is not a culprit until the Supreme Court sentences to a penalty including a suspended sentence.
However, the behavior of capture will be allegedly reported in public with real name, and the suspect will be in handcuffs. It is so humiliating.
The defendant may appeal the sentence, but the court tends to uphold, the allegation will be dismissed.
Therefore, I definitely believe that an authority should not easily arrest a suspect.

- indict: 起訴する
- prosecutor: 検察
- a suspended sentence: 執行猶予
- allegedly: （真偽は別として）伝えられるところによると
- appeal: 控訴する
- uphold: 判決を支持する
- allegation: 申し立て
Suspect → Defendant → Culprit (≒ Criminal)
That makes sense.

Agree or Disgree: Is the extinction of some plant and animal species inevitable?
Yes, I agree the idea that the extinction of some plant and animal species inevitable for the following reasons.
First of all, in the earth long history many species of animals and plants were died out.
For example, a Dinosaur well-known ancient animal was completely extinct due to dynamic climate change. Nowaday, a human are trying to prevent the climate change, but with even new technology, it is impossible to stop the climate change.
Furthermore, in the Earth long histroy, some species were evolved to another species.
For instance, an ape had been evolved into a human.
Thefore, we are able to making living at the moment with dignity.
For these reasons, there is no doubt that the exntinciton of some plant and animal species is inevitale.
